EOC Website

Our team played a key role in revamping the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) website by implementing a range of high-impact UX improvements. We conducted stakeholder interviews, surveys, and a UX workshop to identify and address pain points in the user experience. Given the challenge of being unable to communicate directly with end users, we conducted an empathy session with carefully selected participants who were representative of the target audience. Analyzing the results of our research, we applied our findings to both the content architecture and UI design, resulting in a website that is more user-friendly and effective in meeting the needs of the EOC's audience.

What we did

Interview with stakeholders

We interviewed stakeholders to understand users feedback on the original website. This informed our approach to improving the user experience.

UX/UI survey

We presented several UI designs to stakeholders for review and selection. Based on their feedback and input, we then proceeded to create an optimized design that effectively met the needs of the website's users.

UX Workshop with stakeholder

We collaborated with stakeholders to develop a user persona and determine the organization's branding position, ensuring that the website effectively resonated with its intended audience and aligned with the client's branding strategy.

Custom UI Design with Branding

We utilized the branding color scheme to create custom illustrations that effectively communicated the website's messaging and branding. Additionally, we ensured that the website's UI design adhered to WCAG color system standards, ensuring accessibility for all users.

After

We have improved the website's user experience by implementing a responsive design that is suitable for all devices. Additionally, we have restructured the content architecture according to the agreement of all stakeholders involved.

How we make it?

We invested significant effort in understanding the original website's large volume of content before moving on to the ideation and definition phase to enhance it. This approach allowed us to create a website that meets user needs and aligns with the client's objectives.

Before

The previous website was not mobile-responsive, making it difficult to read on mobile devices, which are commonly used nowadays. Additionally, the UI design was outdated and required updating.

Related Works

We utilized UX principles to create the project's overall concept and applied UX/UI design principles to the website. We also conducted related tasks such as interview, survey, and content restructure to ensure an improving and effective user experience.
