LevelMind

"Levelmind@JC" is a series of gathering places created by the HKJC (Hong Kong Jockey Club) for young people. We designed the entire project concept, characters, positioning, website, promotion on social media platforms, KOL videos, and offline printing from scratch. At the beginning stage of the project, we conducted different focus groups to accurately understand the preferences and needs of young people, enabling the project to target their attention accurately.

What we did

UX Workshop with Young People

We conducted several focus groups, targeting young people in general or those who require social worker accompaniment. Due to the pandemic, we had to change our in-person workshops to online workshops, which was a major challenge.

Stakeholders Survey

We first presented several conceptual directions to stakeholders for their selection and feedback. After analyzing the results, we chose the most suitable concept for young people to discuss.

Custom UI Design

Rather than using a UI template, we customized a UI design for the website based on the preferences and suggestions of the target audience.

Created Operation Guideline

To ensure smooth and effective management in the future, we created an operational guideline that includes all the necessary design elements.

Characters Creation

We created a concept called "終於呼吸島," which features an island owner and residents. We designed a series of characters and integrated them into the website to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

How we make it?

We first developed a big idea and then solicited feedback and comments from our target audience - young people. Based on their feedback, we analyzed and created characters that would run throughout the entire project.

Concept Testing

At the outset of the project, we generated several design options to test the concept with young people. This approach helped us gain a clear understanding of their design preferences and determine the correct design direction.

Related Works

For this project, we applied UX to the creation of the overall concept, and then applied UX/UI to the website. In addition to this, we also did a lot of other related work as below.
